The traditional devotion for the month of September is Our Lady of Sorrows. It is quite beautiful that it follows the month of the Immaculate Heart - one has a better understanding of the sorrows she endured if one better understands just how perfectly pure and loving that heart is. A beautiful devotion in the Church is to meditate on the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady, which is described in a post from last year. This month, let us spend some time with our Sorrowful Mother and ask her to help us in our sorrows. She can best show us how to unite them with He Who suffered and sorrowed most of all.
