Christ came to do the will of the Father who sent Him, and He did it steadily, becoming a cause of salvation for all who obey. Our lives of consecration are lives of deep identification with the His sacred life; each of our actions proceeds from His will and is carried on by His assistance, redounding for His glory. When all is done for God's glory, there is variety enough to keep life quite interesting, as was well demonstrated by the variety of apostolic and formative activities that happened in one recent weekend. The Institute on Religious Life regularly offers regional meetings for ongoing formation and relationship-building among religious communities. Under the guidance of our Superiors, the novices recently experienced the regional meeting in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, two of the Sisters visited the beautiful Assumption Parish in Ferndale, and several of the Sisters joined thousands in walking the San Francisco Walk for Life. Catholic Schools Week began right at the Cathedral of St. Eugene. Praising God in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the students and parishioners asked God's blessing upon the children's academic endeavors, before a delicious pancake breakfast and open house. All for the salvation of souls and the greater glory of God! Comments are closed.
