Our charism statement begins, "In union with Mary...," and this Marian relationship shapes and characterizes our lives of consecration.
Our Blessed Mother is the perfect model of the life of consecration that blends the contemplation of God with service of His people, as ours does. During all of His earthly life, she served His physical needs and so exemplifies that life which serves the needs of His Mystical Body, the Church. Perfectly united to Him in heart and soul during His hidden life, she presents us with the ideal of our contemplative union with Him in prayer. The order of our life, active works flowing forth from concentrated periods of prayer, forms the framework within which our life of contemplation and action flourishes.
