Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pray for us!

August is devotionally dedicated to the honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Traditionally, the feast of the Immaculate Heart is celebrated on the octave of the Assumption, August 22.

Although quietly present in the Church's devotional life from antiquity, it was at Fatima, just a hundred years ago, that Our Lady revealed her Immaculate Heart more clearly and poignantly than ever before, asking for reparation to be made for sin.

This month's devotion offers us an opportunity to renew our intention to make reparation for the sins which so offend our Good God, and in offending Him, grieve the tender Heart of our Sweet Mother.
