Church Tours: Part 1

With every new group of young women who enter our community, there is an opportunity given to them to better know the diocese in which they will live and serve. This program in our formation process is called our “Diocesan Church Tour Experience”. On it, novices are given the chance to visit several of our diocesan churches to learn about our local history, and to pray in a spirit of thanksgiving for all the good God has done in our parish communities, especially through our priests. 

​​God inspired several beautiful reflections in the heart of our novices, each centered around the primacy of the Eucharist and Priesthood. We would like to share these mediations with you each Thursday in August in honor of the feast of St. John Vianney (celebrated on August 4th) and as an extension of our spiritual apostolate to pray for priests. Every morning, the Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa begin our day with a Eucharistic Holy Hour for priests, remembering that “there can be no Eucharist without the priesthood.” It is our hope that these reflections will encourage you to continue to pray for our priests, especially our diocesan priests, who are instrumental in sustaining the Eucharistic Revival in every diocese throughout our nation and throughout the world.  ​
