June flew by! We are very grateful for all the blessings our Lord poured upon us in the Month of His Sacred Heart. We began the month focusing on the Holy Eucharist and the Priesthood with the Ordination of two priests and the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. We were privileged to sing for both events. The Sisters always decorate one of the altars for the Corpus Christi procession and this year dressed the altar for our new priest's first Mass.
After three years of wanting to, we finally hosted an Open House in our "new" Convent. It was an occasion of grace to share our beautiful Chapel with friends from near and far. After the Open House, the Sisters began scattering for ongoing formation and apostolic adventures. The novices particularly enjoyed participating in the Little Flowers Girls Camp. They spoke to the young ladies about the mystery of the Incarnation, prayed with them, and joined in playing their games. One of our Sisters headed for DC, while another attended the Institute of Catholic Liberal Education sessions in Nashville and was blessed to be able to join the Southern Route of the Eucharistic Pilgrimage. Our Community has now been on two of the four routes! The last day of June, another crew of Sisters left for the Vita Consecrata Institute in Front Royal, VA. Looking back on this month, we are amazed at all that Our Lord has done in, with, and through us. We rejoice in the outpouring of His love. Month-in-Review Slideshow Comments are closed.
